چکیده
introduction: one of the main sections of warm up is stretching which the importance of them is static and dynamic stretching. the purpose of this study was to examine the effects of static and dynamic stretching within a pre-exercise warm-up on the static and dynamic in soccer players. materials and methods: eighteen physical education female students (height: 159.68 ± 5.94 cm; mass: 60.21 ± 5.93 kg; age: 22.00 ± 0.63 years (mean ± sd)) were participated voluntarily. before and after different warm-up protocols consisting of static stretching (ss), dynamic stretching (ds), and no stretching (ns), to measure static and dynamic balance were used the stork test and the star excursion balance test, respectively. statistical analysis was conducted anova repeat measure and tukey’s testes. results: there was a significant increase in static balance after ds (6.34 ± 3.14 s) vs. ss (4.40 ± 2.47 s) (p = 0.03). in addition, there was a significant increase in dynamic balance after ds (72.03 ± 3.76) vs. ss (69.58 ± 5.35) (p = 0.01). one the other hand, there are no significant differences in static and dynamic balance after ns vs. ds and ss. conclusion: researchers concluded that dynamic stretching cause to increase the static and dynamic balance performance. therefore, they should update their body with this type of stretching.

Dynamic vs. static-stretching warm up: the effect on power and agility performance.
The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of a dynamic warm up (DWU) with a static-stretching warm up (SWU) on selected measures of power and agility. Thirty cadets at the United States Military Academy completed the study (14 women and 16 men, ages 18-24 years). On 3 consecutive days, subjects performed 1 of the 2 warm up routines (DWU or SWU) or performed no warm up (NWU). The 3 war...
متن کاملThe effect of warm-up, static stretching and dynamic stretching on hamstring flexibility in previously injured subjects
BACKGROUND Warm-up and stretching are suggested to increase hamstring flexibility and reduce the risk of injury. This study examined the short-term effects of warm-up, static stretching and dynamic stretching on hamstring flexibility in individuals with previous hamstring injury and uninjured controls. METHODS A randomised crossover study design, over 2 separate days. Hamstring flexibility wa...

Background: For decades, static stretching has been the standard benchmark for training programs, because it has been shown to increase flexibility compared with other methods of stretching. Objective: The current study investigated and compared the effects of active dynamic stretching and passive static stretching on hamstring tightness. Me...
متن کاملThe effect of selective physical and motor fitness exercises on the static and dynamic balance of mentally retarded female students
Improving the motor fitness of mentally retarded children is of importance for their health. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of a chosen physical and motor fitness training program on the static and dynamic balance of mentally retarded female students. Thirty-eight high school students (average age 18.63 ± 1.3 years, average height 153.19 ± 6.98 cm, and average weight 58.95 ± ...
متن کاملThe Effects of 6 Weeks of Balance Training on Static and Dynamic Balance of Blind Students
Background and Purpose: Visual disturbance causes problems in the orientation, balance, and movement of individuals. It is especially important in children because this is a golden age for adoring physical exercises and physical function in these people. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the effect of 6 weeks of balance training on the static and dynamic balance of blind students. Materi...
متن کاملThe Acute Effects of Static Stretching Compared to Dynamic Stretching with and without an Active Warm up on Anaerobic Performance
The Wingate Anaerobic Test (WAnT) has been used in many studies to determine anaerobic performance. However, there has been poor reporting of warm-up protocols and limited consistency between warm-up methods that have been used. With the WAnT being such a commonly-used test, consistency in warm-up methods is essential in order to compare results across studies. Therefore, this study was designe...
